RX-480 video playback issues.

So today I swapped out my GTX 980 for a RX-480 (traded with someone) in order to use freesync with my new panel.

But I wanted to watch a movie and I noticed some frequent stutters in video playback. I checked MSI Afterburner and I saw the GPU load spike aswell.

Any Idea what this could be? I've disabled all enhancement features in the Crimson drivers (steady video/fluid video). 

Player is MPC-HC, Windows Media Player it doesn't visually stutter but the GPU keeps spiking aswell.
