Help with audio required

Hello everyone,

so i got a new headset, but the mic isn't working so i'm returning it.

Anyway, now i plugged back in my old headset and the weird thing is that specific games (only so far with COD IW and COD BO3), the sound only shows up on the new headset and not the old.

All other sounds work fine, even other games.

The new headset i got and i'm returning is the Arctis 5 and my old headset is the Siberia 200.

What do you mean by "the sound only shows up on the new headset and not the old"? Do you have both plugged in or something?

No what i mean is since i plugged my new one in i don't hear the game sounds when i plug my old headset back in.

When you switched to the new headset, did you change any settings or any wires?

I did not but the new headset does connect with usb instead of a 3.5 mm jack.

I still don't see how this would only affect 2 games though

i think some games let you pick your audio source, so check the settings in your game.

IW doesn't have that option
