Is an ultrawide monitor worth it?

Hey guys is an ultrawide monitor really worth it for gaming? It just seems to me that there are many problems for the scaling.

its not worth it 1080p 144hz is all you need.

You are the only one that can actually answer that question. Are you ready to pay 700-1400 for monitor? Do you play fps or rpg games? Can your pc handle the monitors needs?

it gives u a massive fov which depending what your playing could be usful of if u do content work then it will help more room to put stuff they come with a big price tag as well so thats somthing to think about

Would it be useful for cities skylines and civilization 6? Also, i am learning to develop games in unity3d. It would help me there too, right?
