why not OC and then determine if you need a upgrade? tough i think it will be necessary anyways

upgrade gpu as well imo

ryzen 3 may not be out for a while and you could get something like a better gpu that would nicely compliment a cpu upgrade

I think your system needs an overhaul. Your mobo might not be able to handle a newer card and new processor, but you can try it.

Try this out:

Newer CPU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103923

Newer GPU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487091

Also, like people are saying, overclock the CPU just to see.

ATTENTION: Your motherboard does NOT support any Ryzen processor. Sorry :(

You need a cooler though. Especially for a good processor like Ryzen.

Not necessarily. The new wraith coolers actually perform as well as a 212 evo, albeit being a little louder.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

True. Plus they look decent. I just watercool so I guess I'm biased towards air cooling :P

Lol, I'm the exact opposite and biased towards air cooling when compared to AIOs due to noise :D
