so, my question is simple, which one would you pick and why?

I need a computer in the next two weeks, and the mobos for the Ryzen (or at least the ones that I want are not available yet). but if I go with the intel's option, I will be buying a processor that is sure to drop its price in the upcoming weeks, so I'm also open for new ideas, I have 3000 AUD which is about 2300 american dollars, and only if it is extremely worth it, I would spend a bit more. I already have the peripherals, and I need my computer for video editing, streaming and gaming, so the computer should be able to run skype, a good game like gta V with high settings, and the video recorder/streaming program at the same time (OBS if anyone needs to know). I really appreciate any tips as well comments or ideas and I also I would like to thank you for your time.

If you are gaming, Intel, if you are moderately into content creation, then Ryzen. IF gaming is the main focus of the rig, like 80% of its use, go intel for the better performance right now in games. It will likely be 4-6 months before Ryzen really is fleshed out solidly and developers release updates to take advantage of it if they choose.

Thank you for your time and answer one question if you don mind to answer:

how can Ryzen perform better for content creation? (I mean what are the advantages of having Ryzen for content creation beside 10 seconds less of waiting for my program to render the video)

Thank you again.

If your doing large files in 4k then you will render them faster. If thats not a concern of yours, then the 7700k all day every day right now.

Thank you again, and last question is: How long do you think, it will take for the Intel processors to drop their price?

I honestly dont think intel will drop them by much, at most 10-30$ depending on the chip is the best you will likely see if they do. I wouldnt hold my breathe on it though.
