Hi

I have an HP Pavilion g6 2012 laptop

Specs in case your wondering:

AMD E2 Processor 1.6ghz

8gb DDR3 ram

1tb Samsung HDD

Windows 10 pro, new install very recently

Anyways, I started it today randomly (dont use it often)and it just hung at a black screen for Ever, I then force restarted it and tried again, blank screen. So I removed the power cable and the wireless mouse receiver and it started. BUT as soon as I entered my password and the welcome screen came up, it crashed. I tried the power cable back in and it refused to start and the caps lock light flashed(which I have fixed in the past in BIOS) so I removed the cable and then restarted. It loaded up and then did the same thing. So I left it a bit and then tried again. I got into safe mode but I am unable to load the network or cmd safe mode only safe mode with our anything. I tried to look at the minidump but nothing. I have removed a security update but it just reinstalled it upon the restart. I am officially stumped by the stupid thing.

Thanks in advance for anyone replies

NOTE: It has crashed 3 times now

1st:Driver irql not less or equal

2nd:irql not less or equal

There has been a 3rd crash however I missed the code (something about a service) as I was on the phone

(As I finished writing this the battery died, lol)

2 hours ago, ms-DOS said:

just try booting it from a usb with ubuntu if that works wipe the drive and reinstall windows

I think I might have to just reinstall windows, after research it sounds like its a  corrupt Ethernet driver, I could probably just find and remove the driver but the PC has just had a brand new reinstall of windows 10 not that long ago, I think it was  recent windows update that caused it tho,

Thanks for the help
