Hey everyone im having a few problems with my pc's performance and not sure where to start looking.

This is what is in the pc, Only thing that is different is that it now has another 8GB of kings ton hyperx fury ram.

The problem that i am getting is that anytime i try and launch a game it drops down to lowest graphics and is running at about 5fps happens to all games that i have on steam.
Not sure if a hardware or software problem or where to start.
I also occasionally get PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA(cpuz138_x64.sys)

any advice on what could be causing the problem or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards Jake

Have you install your graphic card drivers? You go to your motherboard manufacture page and download drivers such as chipset/LAN/sound card.

That crash code seem like bad memory. you should try running MEMTEST to see if it hardware error such as bad DIM, you have run MEMTEST and found some error you can RMA it or return to the seller/shop you brought the memory kit from and get replacement.

Quote

It relates to a block of system memory that windows reserves for it`s self and its sole use.

The two types are a paged pool file, and a non paged pool file.
Both mean you have a problem with windows accessing the memory address of the system memory or ram.

If the error is frequent, like say every time the computer, or a session in windows is used it is a sign that the memory is beginning to fail producing the errors windows is reporting.

Use windows memory test, to check for errors of the memory ram modules.

If presented with errors replace the ram or memory module in the system

I just ran the heaven benchmark test aswell and it was averaging between 40 and 60fps on ultra.

could the problem with the games have something to do with the files themselves?

Well if you have done both test and heaven benchmark result seem ok. It could be the game? which game are you trying to play?

Is there any program i can use to check that all drivers are up to date?

I don't really trust auto updating drivers as it may install wrong drivers? Have you try downloading drivers [http://www.gigabyte.com.au/Motherboard/GA-Z97X-Gaming-3-rev-10#support-dl] for your motherboard.
