No more Windows boot from USB

zeljkozuzu

Hi guys,

I'm new here on Linustechtips, and I take this opportunity to greet you all.

My problem is that I can't boot Win10 from usb. Just got freeze Win 10 logo and that's it.  No running circle.

It is not a first time to use USB boot.

I used this before and  I did this successfully.

Now, tried with 3 different usb sticks and I get the same result. So USB sticks aren't problem. Also, I tried all USB ports on my PC, again, the same...

Disconnected all HDD - the same...

Bios looks good. Power supply almost new.  I didn't made any hardware changes on my PC or bios settings.

Only thing that I didn't do is to pull out memory sticks and return them back, and didn't pull out battery...

I'm run out of ideas now, anybody here with some good advice ??

Thank You,

Zuzu

Maybe the install is corrupted, or it might be that it's not fully bootable.

Brah, do you even Java?

Even if it's brand new, it could still be corrupted. I had to install Windows 4 times on a drive in order for it to work again. Their could also be bad sectors on it.

Try

 sfc /scannow /offbootdir="Drive letter": /offwindir="Drive letter":\windows

for example:

 sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D: /offwindir=D:\Windows
