Windows 10 reinstall

Hello Ltt,

I'm going to buy a new system soon, and with this purchase, I'll be adding a new SSD to the setup. 

My question is, how can I perform a clean install of Windows 10 in the new drive.

Keep in mind two things.

I want a clean install. Full format and new installation

I dont have a Windows key for the installation (neither w10 or previous)

Great! So full format, and this Iso on a Dvd or a Pendrive will do the trick? Remember everything is new. I'm even removing the old drive

Yeah, just use a CD or a USB and select format the drive when you go to reinstall

So I need the old drive to install a new Windows in the ssd? Or can I burn the Iso and get rid of the drive?

the download toll tool will write to either the usb key or dvd.  You will then use that to install to your ssd.

No I was assuming you were reinstalling on the SSD with the drive still in the system,my mistake.

 

If you are going to do a full reinstall of everything, remove the HDD, add the SSD, add boot media (CD/USB with win 10) install on the SSD, then format the HDD from windows. (or toss the HDD.)
