Memory Price Increase

Hello, i've just noticed here in my country the Memory RAM price increase so high, just when i build my pc i did get a 8gb ram for only 40$, but now the price went up to 75$, and all other RAM too increases their prices, 4gb was around 25$ now its 36$, i was wondering if the RAM price increase is internationally or its just here in my country (Philippines). Thanks
