Gaming headset suggestions

MittensK

Hi,

I am looking for a new gaming headset and have come across multiple options.

I have looked in-depth at the Logitech G633 and the Sennheiser GSP 300/350, and was wondering if those options are good and if there are any other options.

I would prefer a clear sounding mic and for it to be closed back (so there is noise isolation)

Thanks in advance.

Do you need a gaming headset? Because it would be more price efficient if you got a pair of decent headphones and a decent microphone.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Well, it would be preferable for the headset but a good set of headphones and a mic would be nice as well, same things for the headphones (noise isolation) apply.

Thanks for the response.

I'd recommend getting an Antlion Modmike for about $50 (v4 should be enough, but you can do more research on that if you want)

And then choose a pair of headphones that you think you'd like. I think that this survey works pretty well if you have no idea.

I use a Logitech G430 and it's treated me well, good mic and 7.1 surround sound, I believe it's about $50

I'm currently using the HyperX Cloud II, and i really love them. They have a good sounding microphone and the audio sounds in my ears really good, i'm not any specialist on audio but i think they sound good.

Price: $99,99 (Taken from Newegg.com)

My rating: 9/10- It's a really good quality headset, all though probably doesn't have the best sound, but once again i'm not an audio specialist, but it does good for the things i use it for.
