Odd graphic glitch

Since my upgrade to my fancy 4k setup I have a couple games that are displaying an odd glitch....on the left side of the screen I get a bar the height of the screen that flashes different colors and it crops whatever game it does it in.  It doesn't go it in all games...but the games it does do it to are slightly.....aged....Mass Effect 3, SWTOR...any ideas?

I am going with what Nvidia thinks is the best options of the games and getting this glitch.
