I need an image recoloring program

Hello guys,

I found some old pictures that are in black and white and I want to recolor them. Is there a program or website that does it well? I found this site but it doesn't do blue shades very well and leaves weird purple patches where the gradient isn't different enough. It's still something but do any of you have something better to recommend? I don't want to send them to someone or have to do it myself because I would have to actually learn that so an automatic program that's better than the one I found would be great.

I think it would be easier to do this in photoshop. I'm not sure about any alternative machine learning options as you've shown.

I don't know if there's any actually working software for this. You would need to pick some areas and colors anyway, since connecting shapes to what colors they should be isn't a thing (yet). I would say easiest would be using layers and masking on either photoshop or gimp.
