MAC m.2 why not?

Hello!

Im just wondering if anyone knows why MAC dosnt use the m.2 ssds istead of the standard ones? They are faster, smaller and has a lower weight than the standard ones? Are there any problems with m.2 nvme and the m.2?

//Thanks

the MacBooks use a non-standard nvme drive similar to m.2 but are just different to the standard simply so you have to go through them to upgrade unlike their older models

Because they want you to believe it's something new in the SSD world, but it isn't. I can't really see a difference as well, maybe a down/upgrade?

Apple was founded by an electronic engineer and they really are a modern electronics company. All their shit is proprietary coz they have the human and financial resources to bring that competition to the market
