Also, I've noticed that viewing stuff on youtube has been a little janky, like chrome freezing. Does anybody else experience this?

The boot thing is weird. Go into chrome://settings, open advanced settings and find 'System' and uncheck use hardware acceleration where available, then reboot chrome.

Do you have many extensions installed for Chrome?

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

it means that 7 of the startup items in Chrome are those.

 

If you removed those then it'd be more lightweight and faster.
