thanks, but this is for the X3  v3 and not been updated to X3 v6

Aorus has been doing a good job recently.  The V6 is quite a good machine.  Shouldn't be falling apart at the hinges like the older V3 which had some issues.

Aorus is my favorite thin brand, they understand cooling better than other brands putting out thin machines like Razer, MSI, and Gigabyte.

Nice any recommended resellers with good warranty.

HIDEvolution. Get the liquid metal on it for even better temps. Battery life will still be shit.

X3 is still the worse offender because the screen is still fucking shit. AND still no TB3. Even in the v7 gen. The X3 gets the shaft.

HID is quite good but pricey.  GenTechPC also has liquid metal so they are another good option.

@Pendragon "usefulness" of TB III aside for most people the screen is a weaker point especially compared to the competition in that price range.  It's still not the worst screen I've seen I could tolerate it just fine.

Yeah I totally agree, the 1800p screen was not the best.  It wasn't like literally unusable like the new Dell Inspirons TN though or anything.

That's fair. It's just the x3 gets the short end of the stick when the 15in and 17in both get all the upgrades.

True, the X5 and X7 are doing great in my mind.  120Hz 1080p good quality TN on the 15" and the 1440p 120Hz on the 17" are both fantastic gaming displays.

I owned an X3 1st gen and it was pretty good, I guess. The RAID 0 SSDs were wicked fast, and it fit easily into my backpack, only being 4 pounds and less than an inch thin. Now with a 1060 and NVMe SSDs, that will no doubt be a step ahead of the SATA drives an 870M of my old one. You would do best to be careful around the rear grilles, as I managed to crack mine when my power brick hit the rear plastic inside of my bag. The aluminum body is great.

Thanks I still have like a month before I need to buy one, but it is on the top of my list.
