front audio problem

i have an old lenovo motherboard (is6xm) with a current case that offers hd audio and an ac 97 connector but this motherboard doesnt have a standard audio connection (some thirteen pin thing) i dont know how i could connect it to here of even if i could at all. so is there a solution to connect it to those or maybe something like a sound card (do those have front audio connectors, ive never used a sound card before so i dont know) or something creative. thank you

Try searching for an adapter. I would look around but I don't know what motherboard you have or what "some 13 pin connector" is...

Alternately a cheap sound card with front panel headers or something like this.
