folding@home not using cpu after 1 WU

Also, set the core count to 10, not 12. Leave

resources open for the gpu and everything 

else, your gpu will likely pull alot more carts

Removing, or just pausing the cpu slot doesn't 

do anything negative to the gpu folding, folding

on 12 out of 12 threads however will slow down

the gpu. 

 

If you keep bluescreening, remove the overclocks

and try without, if that doesn't work you need 

additional troubleshooting. Remember that folding

is very picky on gpu overclocks, make sure you 

aren't just dumping wu's, and actually complete

them. 

 

Also remember that any estimates early on in a wu

are not accurate, you need atleast a few percent 

progress to expect any decent estimates, TPF, PPD,

ETA so and so forth.

A few weeks, maybe months ago they stopped

giving cpu work to slots with an uneven number

of threads, ie 3, 11 so and so forth. But i don't 

think that is the case anymore.

 

It could potentially be some server trouble,

maybe there just isn't any work. If you could 

post the log for the cpu slot it might help solve

the mystery. It could just be that you have to

wait for work, unless something is wrong on

your end, could be hours or days. 

 

Edit: i just received a wu just fine atleast.

found like this, just change the slot to 00.

Indeed, honestly don't know why you 

keep getting empty servers, what is 

your current thread count on the cpu

slot?

Don't think it's a problem, by try 10. Also

clear the work and restart the client. 

 

If you are on windows, just do %appdata%

in the search, go to FAHClient, work, 00 

and delete wudata_01-02.dat(if there is any)

how do i clear the work, also 00 doesnt appear in the appa data

You don't have to do it, if you can't find it,

it's fine. But after going to appdata, you

find the folder FAHClient, which contains

the work folder, at last you find your 

destination, the 00 folder.
