I am looking for a free DVD ripping program to rip all my movies to my server I was using the free trial of DVDfab or something like that but the trial period ran out so I'm looking for another. Any recommendations?

CDBurnerXP will probably work out for you. (Please make sure you have legal rights to rip your movies  ;) )

MakeMKV is the best one. It doesn't compress the video and audio, so you get an exact copy of what's on the disc. http://makemkv.com/

I personally don't enjoy 9-string guitars, but that doesn't change the fact that they look awesome as hell!

I used "DVD Ripper" to rip all my movies to disk before I started travelling.

Works really well, and it has preset options to convert videos for portable devices.
