Hi folks I'm after some help please, I'm just looking at my options for getting a streaming PC for my lounge. I would need  to use it to do some college work on as well just word programs as my laptop gave up last month. Not fussed about gaming on it either. Nearly forgot i will be using my Panasonic 55 inch 4k TV so 4k capable streaming would be nice, I already have a keyboard and mouse and my budget could stretch to £500 GBP total noob to all this but been watching all ltt videos as well as others for years now so its about time I build something thanks brent.

Well, for the time being kabylake is the only way of steaming 4k from netflix. For light productivity and general use, I would say something like an i3 with a b250 or h270 board would be the way to go.

Kinguin can be used for the OS, and since you dont plan to game on it, 4K will be ok.
