So I'm trying to watch someone's stream and of course, an advertisement comes up. Okay, I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with though is that the ad is forever frozen as soon as it loads and I cannot watch the stream. It just sits there.

Things I've tried doing:

-Clearing all browsing data (History, cached images and files, passwords, download history ect)

-Disabling BetterTTV (an extension for Twitch)

I quickly used Microsoft Edge to see if the problem persisted and it did not. I'm using Google Chrome as my main browser.

This also occurs on all streams via Twitch.

Help is appreciated, thanks.

so.. the problem is *only* within chrome?

sounds like either some plugin is acting up (other than bttv) or like chrome needs a fresh install.

Could be that. It was working like 5 hours ago and now it's not.

UPDATE: With all extensions disabled, Twitch is still not working.

Thing to note: If I don't get an ad, the stream is still frozen. I get 1 frame of video and that's it.
