Hey guys.

So upgraded recently to a Gaming pro carbon. Had a few issues getting everything to work but finally got there. The issue seems to be RAM. I have 32gb but it will only allow me to plug in 16gb. If I apply the rest the system will boot but I get to picture and LED error 19. If I remove the extra ram then it start with not issues. I tried moving it around etc.. and still nothing.

I have no idea what is going on. I mean I do not mind 16gb but now I have another 16gb doing nothing in my drawer. Also the mobo looks weird with ram just one on side.

Thanks.

Hmm could be I guess. Brand new mobo tho so that would be pretty annoying.

Have you tested all four ram sticks to make sure they all work? Judging by the fact that your CPU worked with 4 sticks before if the ram isn't faulty then your mobo is so you'll have to RMA it :/

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

You mean like add one by one? I haven't done that yet tbh.

No, as in replace the two sticks you're currently using with the other two. Though you could also try that.

Do you know what error code 19.RTFM

I searched it up and it says "early south bridge initialization", which leads me to suspect it's a mobo issue.
