Windows Error - "Critical"

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

The WiFi card is the issue

So I was using my PC and then kind of out of nowhere I got this error message something with the word "critical" in it and it had to restart. I was wondering what that would be. I defragmented/optimized my drives, ran Windows update, checked Intel rapid storage to see if any of my drives were/are dying and nothing shows up. Windows seems to be running really shitty as well. Really don't know what it could be. Any ideas?

CPU and memory in task manager report nothing of high use either. The only thing I've been doing in the mean time has internet browsing.

Try downloading Malwarebytes and running a full scan, this has happened to me too, the problem was some gay AdWare file was in my startup and copied itself to all windows directories. Luckily I had ESET, I have a paid license now and it protects damn well, I recommend it 10/10. As I was saying try DLing Malwarebytes and run a full system scan, id nothing shows up try cleaning up with some tool like an IOBit cleaning tool. Quote if you need any help :)

Malwarebytes didn't detect anything. The OS drive seems to be pinned at 100% every time I connect to my network for internet access and loading web pages. I just reset my modem and it's still occurring. I don't know whether it's a software or hardware or both issue at this point.

When I disconnect from the network, it seems to stop pinning at 100%
