Fx 6300, how much boost?

I have a sapphire r9 380 gpu. And fx 6300. With this is get 40 fps in gta5 on highest minus the AA. If i get an i5 or a ryzen. Since fx6300 dosent limit the r9 380, will i see fpa boost if i change cpu?? How much fps more will i get on avg?

Unless your FX-6300 is highly overclocked or you aren't playing that intensive of games, I would say it is bottlenecking. Hell, my 6600K bottlenecked my GTX 1070 until I overclocked it to 4.6GHz. I would definitely say go with at least an i5 or a ryzen cpu.

Sounds like you need to update your AMD drivers. There is absolutely no reason you should be getting 40 fps on GTA with that card.

Also, use MSI Command center to automatically overclock your CPU. Anything over 4.0 you'll need a Watercooler because that chip gets pretty hot.
