CAD Software

Hello on LTT.

I'm planing to work on a computer table project and was thinking of using a CAD software.

 

But the thing is that i don't know a good CAD program and was wundering if any one here knew of such software?

My personal favorite would be Solidworks but it can be a little difficult to get the hang of it first off.

Time is not a problem for me atm..

I have much time to kill and not much to do so i pick up some projects to work on..
 

I already work with PolyBoard but thats more for cabins and such..

 

But i will look at Solidworks and see how it works for me.

Solidworks, AutoCAD and Siemens NX spring to mind.

 

As with anything, give it time and there's a vast amount of information out there.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if lynda.com have a solidworks or autoCAD course you could use. In fact i've just looked, and they do.

I am the "learn by doing" kinda type. but yeah. good wiht some alternatives to work with.
