corsair void surround MIC issues

right so i purchased a brand new void surround and apparently to my friends it sounds like shit im using the usb for the surround features, does anyone know why the quality is lesser, than my h1500 headset i previously owned

Check in the Corsair Utility Engine. Maybe you have activated a weird setting....
