Astroneer?

I just got Astroneer and it stutters really bad, its playable once I do about every fix I could find and turn settings all the way down. DO I have to wait until they release a patch or do you guys know a fix.

It's real bad optimized because it used some old shit for enviroment deformation of something. It stutters on my gtx 1070 and 6700k, which are both sitting on their asses. I'm not even pushing 50% load on max view distance on 1440p.

I'm playing on pach number 119. the 125 just came out, fixing and updating lots of stuff.

Not to talk about how smelter is gliched and smelts 1:1 ratio in terms of ores, which makes it super easy to expand. I feel through the ground multiple times and controles are yankee as fuck. You open a menu in cave, it jump around as crazy. And once you loose grip on steep hills, you slide for ages not regaining grip. 

 

But the game itself is dope AF, really addicting.

Yea the game is amazing and worth the 20 dollars, its just that the stuttering partially ruins it.

It's pre Alpha man. It's in development. Be glad it even runs.

Yeah you kinda did. It's a game with huge potential. Even now in it's early stages there's lots of stuff to do.
