I dropped my s6 and smashed the screen, and now the phone won't turn on at all. I can't connect it to a computer, or feel it vibrate at all. The only thing that comes on is the blue led up the top left that slowly changes between two similar shades of blue. My plan was to take the phone apart and see if anything is disconnected, and if not, replace the screen & digitizer. But I don't want to fork out $200 for a that unless it's actually the issue. So I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knows what the issue is? Thanks

tl;dr
Phones broken, whats wrong with it?

you've probably broken you're screen and digitizer. i would took for a repair shop near you and see waht they say - dont let them take it in - unless you want to, of course.

Hey,

It may be worth looking into things such as the colors of the lights as well as other things, if anything changes when you try to turn it on, it may be an indication of what is wrong with it. It is probably worth taking it apart if you know what you are doing and ensuring everything is connected. Make sure that everything is well pushed in as I had a problem with my laptop, took it apart and put it back together twice, the first time checking the hard drive and the second just wiggling the CMOS, guess what worked :(. It took a full hour to fix but works now so ensure everything is plugged in.

Hope this helps
