All headphones are speakers and wires. So yes you can if you know how to solder stuff properly. Will they sound better than anything out there, maybe not.

In theory, if you get the drivers from the same pair of headphones, it shouldn't be too difficult, but once you start matching drivers with something which isn't their original enclosure you'll dramatically change the frequency response.

 

So in practice, if you can cannibalise the enclosures from the same pair and make or cannibalise the headband from a different pair, you might get something not terrible.

 

Do I think it's worth it? Probably not, but if you can find some cheap deals then give it a go.
