xfx psu safe ?

Go to solution Solved by Emperor_Piehead,

taking into account all of those, would this be a better investment ? http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_995&products_id=13278

the xfx equivalent would be about the same. HIgh end psu's don't have too much different from each other.

I have that PSU. My system specs are in sig. It's completely fine haven't had any issues.

xfx are all seasonic rebrands so they should be great, but xfx just doesn't have the best fans on the psu + the customer support isn't very good.

XFX psu's are fine. They are from Seasonic. You'd want a 850w bronze for a 290 cf though.

Should be good, but be weary that it may come DOA or there may be a malfunction or a mistake that was made during manufacturing that could cause your PSU to blow up or stop working

Hope I could help!
