Dac\amp choise problem

Hi.

I've been looking for a dac for a while. As for now, I have 2 options:

1. Get schiit modi 2 + magni 2 (local dealer, so the price is double, and uber versions are out of budget)

2. Get dac\amp combo - fostex hp-a4. Costs same as above

 

I don't really know which option is better, because I didn't listen to any of them.

So what's the best way to go?

The shipping costs are high and so is possible back-shipping in case of warranty situatuion. Yes, I can save some, but it may bring up some problems later.

Just in case someone's wondering: finally got to listen both of options and hp-a4 sounds much better for me, so I got this one.

Yeah, real funny. If you hadn't jumped the gun I would've recommended something cheaper.

No. Schiit has European distributors which might have offered a better price. Too late now, though.
