Hello fellow Linus MEMBERS ! Hope you're all well !

 

Now, I'm wondering , what's the difference between Z270 Maximus Hero vs Code , because, I'm wondering if im paying extra just for the armor protection which I think is not that big of a deal.

All I plan to do is overclock to 4.8 some with I7, dual SLI , 6 sata ports is more than enough, M.2 I don't care, Fanspreaders , I have cooler master HAF X + Corsair H80 for cooler the maximum ram im going for is 2666 Speed as I don't more for gaming.

 

slap me good 4k monitor after those income taxes come back lol.

 

I know I should do the homework from  what I've compared,  I feel Hero give you the core features top functionality , I opted for ASUS Prime  thinking  they'd make a pro or deluxe version. Does not seem likely.
