No there is not, let me see about that.

 

Haha, I am worried that part of it has to do with "Game Mode". I bought this TV cause I wanted a really low response time TV, and I leave game mode on all the time. Game mode limits the capabilities of the tv to perform more complex tasks (usually more like frame filling, or whatever it is called that makes it look like more fps). Maybe Game mode limits the surround sound too?

I have a Samsung as well, but I couldn't comment on the affects of Game Mode as I use the Denon

 

Try the audio driver, maybe update the whole drivers (odd as it normally installs by default)

Well, I think I am going to troubleshoot this more tomorrow, it is now nearly 1am where I am and I have work tomorrow

 

But, thank you for your help. It really does mean a lot to me. Sounds like maybe I should look more into recievers and sound cards.

 

Also, I do think it is pretty freaking awesome that I am not the only couch gamer out there. All my friends said it could be done, but here we are. (also that we both have 1080s and samsung tvs).
