Stuck key on keyboard

I have  a sick but cheap keyboard wit backlit keys but my W key gets stuck or dosnt work and the only way it fully works is pressing the very top or very bottom of the key is there a way I can fix this?  Idk the keyboard it has a scorpian logo on the wrist rest I got it for my b-day a year ago

I would try to remove the keycap and see if there are any chip crumbs or any nasty things under the keycap. If there is, be careful removing whatever is in there. If your keyboard happens to be waterproof, i'd clean it out with water.

 

I'd suggest buying a new keyboard though if it doesn't work. If you want suggestions for cheap mechanical or membranes, just say so!

To remove a keycap, you'd usually get a keycap puller which is usually included in most gaming keyboards.

 

If yours does not, I would take some tweezers and very gently and tenderly remove the keycap. If that doesn't work either, keycaps are VERY cheap on Ebay.

 

And for the keyboard, are you wanting full 104 key, multi-media... anything?

just pull it off or use something to pry it off
