Maybe I'm not using the right keywords or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I can't find any good options for a USB hub with multiple connection types for my PC. Because my computer lives under my desk it's difficult to reach things like USB and audio ports and the front IO is limited. Any suggestions for products? I need something with at least SD card and 3.5mm audio connectivity. Preferably with some 3.0/3.1/C USB ports as well.

Another option would be to get a normal USB hub and then buy a USB to sd and USB to audio adapter.

That's a bit pricier than I was hoping. So maybe I'll consider your second solution.

USB hubs for some reason are just pricey if you get anything more then USB 2.0. My 6 port USB 3.0 hub cost $24.

I use this one.  It comes with a 3 foot long cord for the USB and the power cable and has four ports.  I can plug my keyboard/mouse and phone into it with no power issues.  Best investment I have made for peripheral type components.   The thing is you want one with EXTERNAL power other wise you run the risk of plugging multiple items in and not having the power needed to run them.  So 30 dollars isn't so bad.

That's the one that I use on a daily basis with my mouse and keyboard plugged in. There is no discernible lag, and the hub never freezes (a surprisingly common issue when running input devices.)

Also the triple 2.1A charging ports are pretty nice to have.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
