It will fit, but you will most likely need a BIOS update for it to work properly (if at all!)

Anyways, you would download the latest BIOS version from Gigabyte's website, put it on a USB stick, go into your motherboard's BIOS, go to "flash BIOS" or something like that, and go from there.

It will fit anything that matches the socket, which in this case is 1151. So any 6xxx or 7xxx series Intel CPU will work. You will need a BIOS update for the 7xxx series.
