I have recently encountered several issues with my laptop when I was trying to launch games. First, I've experienced several BSoD's which were connected to either "VIDEO SCHEDULER INTERNAL ERROR" or "CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT". My first reaction was to reinstall the NVIDIA driver, which did not help. However, instead of BSoD when I launched a game, sometimes the laptop just froze and there was no response during several minutes so I had to reset the system; after that in several occasions in a couple of seconds after going from the password screen to the desktop the system froze again, and again there was no response, and again I had to reset it. Once a game simply crashed and there was a system message which said something like "a process was denied access to the GPU".

To resolve the issues, I have tried (partially referring to my own experience and partially using the solutions which I found on some other forums) updating DirectX, updating Microsoft .NET Framework (turned out they were both were up-to-date), turning off anti-aliasing and switching all processes with 3D graphics to the descrete GPU in the NVIDIA Control Panel, turning off the RAPID mode in the Samsung Magician software (as I recently installed a new version of it and thought that it could somehow cause these problems), and finally, deleting the current version of the GPU driver and installing the older one; none of this seems to have helped. I have also installed the Performance Test app from PassMark and conducted all benchmarks (CPU, 2D graphics, 3D graphics including several DirectX versions, memory, drives) as I suspected that either CPU or 3D test will go wrong and I will have an idea what the problem is connected to. However, all the tests went just fine.

As of now, there are several issues which I deal with each time I try to launch one of my games:

  • Witcher 3 does not launch at all (the process appears in the Task Manager for a couple of seconds and then disappears)
  • L.A. Noire crashes at the start with the following message: Noire.png
  • Shadow of Mordor, Dying Light and Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition behave differently each time I launch them - they either work just fine or freeze the system completely when I try to actually start playing (when I'm trying to load a save or start a fight), and in the second case, there are usually shrill noises and different colours filling the screen (sorry, I know, that there is probably a name for that, but, unfortunately, I don't know it)

I am attaching links to the PERFMON report (I hope that it can be helpful despite the fact that it's in Russian due to the OS being in Russian as well) and the dump files:

My laptop is Acer Aspire VN7-591G with the i7 4710HQ, GTX 860M, 16GB of Kingston RAM (I installed it myself about two years ago), Samsung 850 EVO M.2 SSD (again, installed myself two years ago) and Seagate ST1000LM014-1EJ164 HHDD. I use Windows 10 Home which i updated to about a year ago as the laptop was sold with Windows 8 installed.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
