internet explorer

what is so bad about internet explorer i have never had any problems with it the only reason i dont use it is because my school changed settings on it so it would only show some things on their internet but other than that i think its a great browser what do you guys think?

Internet Explorer has a bad reputation for being slow simply because it IS.

However, Microsoft recently came out with IE 10, which is just ridiculously fast. Even on par with Chrome.

Explorer has always been slow compared to Chrome but as Paperchase said, their newest version is actually rather speedy. I still don't think it is as fast as Google Chrome but it has improved.
