i7 6700 Clock Speed

Hey guys so i got a new pc with a i7 6700 and I just want to know if the clock speeds I'm getting are normal for the chip. So if you have a 6700 share your clock speeds and the cooler you are using.

 

IDLE: 3.88 GHz

Normal load: 3.74 GHz

Heavy load: 3.61 GHz

Min Speed: 3.57 GHz

The [load and min] clocks make no sense unless you're thermally throttling.

Thermals are fine 31 c idle max 65 c

ya and i forgot to emphysize this is the non- k version so isnt base clock 3.4

Turbo Boost

The core clock is fine, it is just that turbo booster effect you will lose 0,1ghz per core being used so: 1 core 2 threads = 4ghz, 2 cores 4 threads = 3,9ghz, 3 cores 6 threads = 3,8ghz, 4 cores 8 threads = 3,7ghz

 

Sometimes if it is 100% usage and your power profile is balanced instead of high performance it can get as low as 3,5~3,6ghz
