Headphone and Headset help

So I have audio-technica m50x's which dont have a microphone. I found this old SADES microphone and thought i could use that as a mic, but whenever it always just takes all sound onto it rather then my audio technicas. anyway i can fix this

if your using windows

right click the speaker icon on the bottom right bar

open playback settings

set ur audio technica as default comm device (to find which source your headphone are, right click and test the ones that are brighter)

find your mic in that column and set it as disabled.
