popcorntime grey

dav

i've done a post bout' this before but it got me nowhere, so i'll try again

When i watch movies on popcorn with my acer predator qx271hua (DP) the videos get washed out. if the window is only partially on the acer, the video is ok, but as more than half of the video gets on the acer both screens make it look grey.
Anyone know how i can stop that?

Msi gtx 970
I5-4690k
Asus vii Ranger
Windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1)

If you need more specs or info feel free to ask.

which version of popcorntime are you using? there are loads of different types out there with a lot of them being malicious. popcorntime.sh is open source and has some of the old devs working on it.

well than im just going to assume you got a shady version. remove it and redownload it from popcorntime.sh. you probably have a bad one. the most recent official version is 3.10 so yours is definitely not official.
