QUESTION: Bitspower PETG

I'm looking at purchasing some Bitspower PETG 12mm OD tubing but noticed that it says "Only Compaible With Bitspower Fitting C47/C48/ML Series". I cant imagine this would be true. According to Performance-PCs website, it says the OD is 12mm and the ID is 10mm. Should this tubing work with the 12mm EKWB compression fittings that I have? Is there any reason that the tubing should be only compatible with their own fittings?

Is the EK fitting also for PETG and 12/10 tubing? Then it should fit. I have never custom watercooled but this is what common sense tells me. I might have missed something so wait for others before you order.

Yup, the fittings are PETG and 12/10. I was thinking it should work, just seemed strange that it said it was only compatible with their fittings. Maybe a way to get people to buy their fittings?

due to the consistency of how the tubing is formed, the tolerances can be just off enough to not allow proper sealing or not able to easily slide the fitting on.

It will be fine. If your getting 12OD tubing and the fittings are 12 OD they will fit. The only time things become an issue is when your try to use metric tubing with Imperial fittings.

 

If your still concerned EK does sell their own tubing.
