Math Anyone?

I am not in school and no this is not homework.

 

I saw a product for a bicycle, it converts a pull length for shifters or brakes. Its basically a pulley system.

Instead of spending $45USD on an off the shelf product I will give a try at making my own pulley system with some alum rod.

Its one groove I believe so this is what I am thinking

If I need an extra 0.75mm of pull what should the ratio be?
