What's with these temps?

Any idea why my idle temps are so high? I have a 5820k at 4.0GHz and a 980ti at stock speeds with a custom loop.

Yes i applied about a large pea sized amount.

i think its a bit high for custom look, i saw temps of 30c to 35c idle.

I'm not sure, maybe because i have a 8 fan PWM splitter?

i have mine at 4.3ghz and i idle around low to mid 20's C. what cooler do you have ? if anything less then a single 140mm its  that or check your block see if its got good contact

I have a 360 and a 240 rad.

pull the block off either you got bad contact . its hitting something on the MB or you got air in the block . im guessing custom loop . if so you got the right insert in the block for the flow channel thing
