I don't know if this is the right section, but... I'm going to build a custom keyboard and was wondering how I could put in switch LEDs? I need help with the resistors, and what controller to use?

If your talking about LED back lightning for the switches they would be integrated into the switch where you have a location to populate it with an LED. As for resistors and such that just depends on the setup and how you have the LED's configured on the PCB.

There is no PCB, I'm hand wiring.

Oh ok if your doing hand wiring that depends on how you have the lights wired. If you have them all indidually wired that would work but would require a resistor for each LED.
