For once I though Ubisoft was getting better, with Seige being their cash cow, and them actually putting updates into it and continuing to make it a good game I had hope for Wildlands.

But after playing the Beta for awhile, its just another big middle finger to PC players.

Now I know the excuse is its a "Beta" but in a recent trend, nothing ever gets fixed from beta to final release especially from Ubisoft. 4 years in development and they throw a steaming pile of crap on us.

Performance issues:

This game runs like garbage, on low I can maybe get 70 fps usually, but the game looks like my dog threw it up. I'd like to play it on high with maybe at least 80 fps. And considering my system meets the recommended system requirements I would assume it to perform better than this. A simple Nividia driver wont fix these issues.

Load times are pretty long, menus are clunky, and the horrendous lag when flying to another area. Not to mention all the other problems people are having.

Gameplay issues:

This game was once again designed with a console in mind and controls like garbage with mouse and keyboard.

For some reason when it goes to night everything glows and is outlined in white making it look retarded.

People can see you through tents even though you can't see them.

The headset communication between your AI allies is like somebody standing next to you in a box talking.

And there is plenty more issues.

So do I think Ubisoft can fix all this? No.

I do like the concept of the game, I like the customization, the free roam, the way to play how you want but if I can't enjoy a smooth gameplay experience I see no reason to play it and suffer.

I kinda enjoy it, flying controls are clunky I agree with that. I get around 43 - 65 FPS @ ultra 1440P with a 1080GTX, the engine needs work, but it is beta

I've enjoyed what I've seen so far, but I haven't been able to play around much with the crashes I'm experiencing. Definitely not as stable as the For Honor beta.

I completely agree on the performance issues, the random jitters and hang ups are very annoying.

I actually enjoy the game. Physics aren't all that amazing and the ai is just too easy. But with 3 other people is quit fun.

If you find any grammar or spelling errors please fill out entry permit A38, thanks.

Agree. After playing the For Honor beta i thought Ubisoft finally got their shit together. Played that beta with max settings at 1440p with a gtx 1080 and it never dropped below 90 fps. In Wildlands the fps are all over the place, dips from 60 to 40 every minute, boring gameplay, and the game just doesn't look good. If you lower the settings the game looks like shit. Even if the game is optimized when it's released, it's going to flop. The Division all over again.
