mechanical disk work again

Hello.

I would like your help.

I have a mechanical disk, that has some bad area (sectors). I would like your help in the procedure that I mark these area

as non usable, and make this disk as a new one, in order to be useful again.

Have you some procedure-steps to advice me? Some page(s) to study and come in result? Something else?

Open up an elevated command prompt and type chkdsk as below where the drive to be checked is E:/

Alternatively, you can run the Check Disk tool from inside Windows by selecting the drive again if that drive is E:/, then right click and select "Properties" in file explorer then "Tools" and finally in the "Error Checking" tab by selecting the check now button.
