Hi, I am not sure what is wrong with my PC, I came home today after writing a math final and it worked fine for about 15 mins.  After that it froze, monitors went black and was unresponsive.  I restarted my computer and It was able to log into my windows account fine.  A went to the bathroom and upon return was greeted with black screens,  same issue.  I restarted again... reluctantly.  My pc booted and got me to the login page, then the monitors went black and so on...  I have gone through this cycle over 7 times now.  The Pc even freezes in the BIOS.  It is a custom build, and I now believe that it may be a hardware issue rather than a OS (because the BIOS was freezing.

If anyone could give me some strategies to cope with my issue that would be appreciated! thanks.

In BIOS? Unlikely. It would boot or throttle first (since AMD).

If you can, test with another CPU or mobo. Also clear CMOS.

i have applied new thermal paste, have a noctua cpu cooler and put a brand new PSU in... still have an issue, not even posting now.  The computer boots up to a black screen.
