upgrade from 7950

Its tax return time and that means a new video card because mine right now is failing.. I am getting a lot back but I am putting most of it in savings. So i have $200 to spend. I was looking at the RX 470 by XFX. Any other ideas? I prefer not to go green team. So stick with AMD if possible.

LOL I did the same thing you did, went from a Sapphire 7950 Dual-X to an MSI Armor OC RX 470. I would go for it, or a 480 if you can find it for a good price.

the 480 is worth the price i would suggest that or a r9 fury if you can spend a bit more.

Glad someone else had the same upgrade. Is it really noticeable? I play games like GTA 5 and a lot of simulators.

One of the fans on my 7950 was dead, so I'm not sure if that made the card throttle or not, but assuming it didn't the difference is around 60%-80% on paper:
