Got a new phone with a working camera

But is this a small amount if ups glow or should I return it to best buy and get a new a new one?

I agree with the last poster. You should try it in a darker room.

It's much worse in a darker room hence why I have the lights on

Sadly ips glow is something to live with the only thing u can do to minimize it is to buy a higher end grade monitor.

 

Asus mx279h so I can't really get a higher end monitor without going to 1440p and spending out of my budget

I think ur issues is backlight bleeding not ips glow.

make sure u are not confused between those two.

I have confirmed it to be ips glow not backlight bleed with others on reddit

I'd have said it was back light bleed too. My x34 has it in the same areas. Admittedly it's a warmer colour though.

 

At the end of the day how often do you stare at a black screen? I never do so wouldn't be an issue for me
